Love is...

Last night I drove home from my parents house after we spent the day at my Great Grandma Sutliff's funeral. All I could think about was who do I want to be? Grandma was 107 and lived on her own after her husband died with very little to no ailments. Grandma was sharp and knew how to play Euchre like nobody's business. But the best part about Grandma was her character. She was the epitome of 1 Corinthians 13:4-9...

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

I will truly miss you, Grandma, but I know that I will see you again since you are with Jesus.
